Ralph started in the insurance industry over 30 years ago and joined Rothbury in 2023. He creates bespoke insurance programs for businesses and prides himself in creating strong relationships with both clients and insurers. Ralph enjoys passing on his knowledge and advice to the next generation and specialises in General Liability including US and Worldwide exposures. He has a wide range of knowledge on Motor, various Liability lines, Material Damage, Professional Indemnity and Construction insurance.

When he’s away from the office, Ralph can usually be found spending time with his wife and working with his whānau managing the family land. He has a keen interest in environment sustainability. Ralph enjoys the Waikato region for the great people and its easy access to Auckland, Bay of Plenty , Raglan, Taupo, Northland and Wellington. He regularly gets involved in Family Hapū in Northland and Hapū in Kaikohe. Born and brought up in Wellington, Ralph could never get used to the weather and moved to Hamilton where he stayed for 16 years. He is an ardent Hurricanes and Wellington Lions fan (although he’s been known to frequent a Chiefs game over the last few years)!
