Sam began his insurance journey with Rothbury in 2024, working closely with the Domestic Broker team and managing many day-to-day changes. He enjoys applying his creative and lateral thinking as he delves into various aspects of the brokerage industry, such as compliance, market trends, and emerging technologies. Sam recently earned a Conjoint Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Commerce, majoring in Human Resources and Psychology, with minors in Accounting and Education.

Outside of work, Sam is deeply passionate about football, especially as a devoted Liverpool fan, following many of their matches. Having previously lived and studied in Christchurch, he returned to Auckland to be near friends, family, and his childhood football club. Sam loves giving back by coaching young players and is keen to enhance his skills by pursuing a youth football qualification
